Jamie Schumacher comes from crisis management experience at Weber Shandwick and Fleishman-Hillard prior to becoming head of Public Affairs at MySpace and then NewsCorp. Jamie built corporate social responsibility programs at MySpace and handled all safety, security, privacy public affairs. Jamie has been working with our clients to build their CSR story, develop NGO partnership strategies, handle proactive and reactive press where public affairs is front and center, and implement a SSP PR leadership strategy, with the goal of positioning companies as leaders in these areas. She also interfaces with government entities when public relations concerns occur. Jamie brings her expertise to us through her firm JMS Public Relations.

SSP White Social Media Analysts Team and Bios

Jilda Castaldo leads SSP White’s social media analysts team interfacing with clients during both the on boarding process and the day to day account management side.  Jilda has been leading customer support teams for several years. With a focus in online safety, security and privacy, Jilda was a key member of MySpace operations team responsible for ensuring the enhancements of safety and security measures were continuously updated, trained throughout the support organization and met quality standards.  Jilda has been working with various organizations conducting user assessments, web-based and app-based, customer experience enhancements, ease of use to report abuse and has assisted many clients in developing processes and work flows to increase efficiencies.  She’s worked for and provided support consultation for large organizations and affiliations such as Time Warner Cable, AT&T, Yahoo and Belkin International.  Jilda’s leadership abilities include managing large groups at all levels and sustaining excellence in all key support areas.  She spent 3 years as project manager and IT liaison for NexCare Collaborative a not for profit organization designed to assist new low income parents with necessary resources to nurture and maintain a healthy environment for families with young children.  Her responsibilities included assisting in the design and development of the organizations customer relationship management and knowledgebase tools, developing and implementing a robust training and quality program.  She brings with her, expertise as business liaison in implementation, and enhancement of operational processes and technology integration, comprising all aspects of business across functional areas.

Members of SSP White’s social media analysts are experienced in online research and content verification to quickly identify actionable information that protects our clients.  Their skills include social media content review, quality assurance monitoring, and email support.  Analysts come from varying backgrounds including having experience in working directly with children and young adults which keeps them abreast of social media impact on online users and their behavior.  Analysts also have experience in efficiently reviewing detailed information to determine validity and accuracy of content and context.  All of our analysts are active social media users.

Alan Scally is a member of SSP White’s social media analysts team.  Alan has extensive experience in Data Analysis and Data modeling, working with large pools of information.  He has worked in several industries, including health care, and has a background in handling sensitive and confidential information.   He has multiple years of experience in generating statistical models that search for patterns and outliers.  For the past few years he has been working with models that specifically look at social media and web data, focusing on user comments and high profile responders.

Jean Villalvazo is a member of SSP White’s social media analysts team.  Jean has expertise in online research and is trained on maximizing social monitoring technologies to identify relevant and actionable user generated content.  His recent work as a coach in LAUSD’s LA Best program keeps him abreast firsthand of social media impacts on today’s youth.  Jean’s research experience includes searching for organizations, government and non-government, that provide resources for low income families.  As part of these responsibilities, Jean has conducted extensive research to including calling organizations to determine the nature of services they provide and if they fit the needs of the organizations.  He has a background in quality monitoring, with a keen attention to detail and understanding of written nuances necessary for social monitoring.

Lyzette Villalvazo is a member of SSP White’s social media analysts team.  Lyzette has extensive experience in quality monitoring all content types in the user generated content realm.  This attention to detail has given Lyzette the ability to recognize sensitive content and determine next steps based on findings often under time sensitive situations.  She has several years of experience in online research and content validation. Lyzette also brings with her experience in reporting and information verification critical to protecting clients.
