Lydia Jones has twenty years of business and legal experience in the Internet media space. She was one of the first civil lawyers in the country to practice in the fields of Internet law, working as a partner in a 100+ lawyer law firm and as counsel to several high profile corporate clients. Lydia’s extensive work in technology spans content and user issues, privacy rights, First Amendment, regulatory compliance matters, licensing, and business to business transactions. Lydia has experience in the financial, education, healthcare, and retailer industries, and she has also worked with online rights of publicity issues for celebrities and professional athletes. Lydia leads the Privacy Team for SSP Blue and she is the founding president of Nashville-based InSage, a consulting firm for companies seeking to balance a commercial interest in leveraging data as an asset with a consumer’s right to privacy. Lydia is also an adjunct professor of law at Vanderbilt University Law School, where she teaches Information Privacy Law.
